We are using random width lumber and cutting it into 4 to 6 fixed widths, the quantity of each width will vary every time. I need the operator to be able to record production on all of the widths, give each width a different lot number, then have the other widths put into stock, while 1 of the widths gets used in further processes.....

I thought the byproduct module would help but it wont share the cost across all the products. And it doesnt seem to allow for any variation in quantity produced.

Ex....
Take 15,000 of product A into workstation A.

Produce products b,c,d,f and g utilizing the raw product A to the best yield.

The workstation produces

5000 of product b
2600 of product c
1000 of product d
200 of product f
9000 of product g

And uses up 14200 of product A.

I need the costing split between all the products, at the ratio we specify in the BOM not just all on 1.

The operator also needs to enter all of these volumes into the system so that they go into stock correctly with their lot number.

Any ideas on how to make this work in V12 manufacturing?
