Is there a way to modify the contact details form under the website portal through my custom module?

My intention is to store updated custom fields into the crm contact info in the matching field.

I would like to add in some custom fields and replace some fields for specific user groups.

I've tried using <xpath> but there doesn't seem to be a name tag that matches the field name.
