Missing required value for the field 'Product' (product_tmpl_id) at multiple rows

I am using the Import Template for BOMs but keep getting the message:
*Missing required value for the field 'Product' (product_tmpl_id)*  at multiple rows

All, I discovered my problem. I needed to remove the duplicate values from BoM type.  I was thrown off at first because the error implied my issue was with the field 'Product' instead of BoM.
