Hello Odoo Community,

I recently took a database backup from an Odoo 17 Enterprise instance running on a cloud VPS. Now, I'm trying to migrate it to Odoo.sh, but when I attempt to import the database, I get the following error:

  latter case, the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on

  the last disk(s) of this archive.

unzip: cannot find zipfile directory in one of /home/odoo/Rayin_Group_New_2025-01-31_04-02-39.zip or

        /home/odoo/Rayin_Group_New_2025-01-31_04-02-39.zip.zip, and cannot find /home/odoo/Rayin_Group_New_2025-01-31_04-02-39.zip.ZIP, period.

2025-01-31 04:44:20,661 INFO: Finished with error(s).

Dear Indeepa,

Yes, You can not import database zip file on odoosh, Because of When we make zip from our system , & export. It's create a folder. 

Example: Database.zip

  • Extract structure like: 
  • Folder: Database
  • File:  Database/dump sql
  • Folder: Database/filestore/<all files>

But when odoo wll import they preferred extract directly files  & try to find. 

In your case 2 Extension available, Rayin_Group_New_2025-01-31_04-02-39.zip.ZIP Please make correct Zip file.

Hi, I have the similar problem.

2025-03-27 10:44:49,278 ERROR: Error while performing unzip on '/home/odoo/odoosh_import_dump.zip'

warning [/home/odoo/odoosh_import_dump.zip]: 636406978 extra bytes at beginning or within zipfile

(attempting to process anyway)

error [/home/odoo/odoosh_import_dump.zip]: start of central directory not found;

zipfile corrupt.

(please check that you have transferred or created the zipfile in the

appropriate BINARY mode and that you have compiled UnZip properly)
you then found a solution, if that is the case. how did you? and what is the source of the problem?
