I hope someone could please help me with the following issue with odoo 9: In my company we are trying to do an inventory - my colleagues told me that in the past they haven't been done correctly. When we tried it (stock --> inventory), it took way too long, as the last inventory 3 months ago hasn't been authorized, and the system had lots of computing work.
We have got an advice by an external, who said we need to type in the stock data on the indivudiual product pages for each product, instead on the inventory page, where we could do everything at once. But now we have another issue: When we make an order, the system in many cases tells us, that the product is not on stock - although, on the product page itself everything is displayed correctly. When we click on "force availability" (don't know the english version of odoo), it works anyway. But it is a bit cumbersome. So my questions are:
As we prefer a proper inventory (stock-->inventory), how can we do it, so that the system is able to process it and how can we authorize it? Is it depending on how many products you have in your inventory list or maybe on the last inventory, which has been done too long ago?
If we do it the other way, type in the stock data on each product page individually, how can we make sure, that the system sees the availability and not tells us, that the product would not be on stock?
