I love that we can easily setup databases each with their own paid addons/etc

1. Am I able from a single account to create a database for each client?

2. Can I charge my client to setup their Odoo solution for their business but pay for the modules from my own company?

Failing that of course I'll have to take the open source route and recreate any modules of interest of course, but if the above was allowed that would be preferable.

So essentially I would pay for my clients' Odoo platforms on my account, but do the setup/maintenance/etc for them via my company.

3. If I am able to charge clients for setup/maintenance using the cloud version, do I need a partner account? If so which partner account?

Hi Ryan,

1. Yes you're able to create as many databases as you'd like from one account. You can fully automate it.
2. You can charge your customer for your services and/or products while paying from your own company. You can choose to link licenses too a customer too.
3. As long as you only sell the community version you don't need to be a partner. If you want to sell the enterprise version and want access to the enterprise source code you'll need to be a partner. The level does not matter as all levels give you enterprise access. It is only important for visibility and the amount of provision you get on licenses. You can find a full overview of what each partner level offers you at https://www.odoo.com/nl_NL/become-a-partner

I would recommend to be a partner. You will get provision for the licenses, a key account to assist you, and access to more tools and documentation.
