  • I am using Odoo15.
  • I faced the problem while adding the product in the order line of sales quotation.
  • I am able to  create just a new product but when I click on the option 'create and edit' , the following access error is occured.
  • I am unable to debug the actual cause of this issue.
  • As I faced error while uploading screenshot of error,I am writing the exact content of the error.
Due to security restrictions, you are not allowed to access 'Product' (product.product) records.

Records: False (id=NewId_0x7f443d1c19d0)
User: Sushil Kumar Singh (id=13)

This restriction is due to the following rules:


Contact your administrator to request access if necessary.

Hello @niyas sir, there is no any record rules associated with this product.product model and the associated access right are given as

I am still facing the same error.

It seems like you are facing a security restriction error while trying to add a product in the order line of sales quotation in Odoo15. The error message suggests that you do not have access to the 'Product' records due to security restrictions. 

One possible solution would be to check your user permissions in Odoo and ensure that you have the necessary access rights to create and edit products. You can do this by going to the 'Settings' menu in Odoo, clicking on the 'Users & Companies' option, and then selecting your user account. Hi,

I think there is some record rules/restriction added for the product model in your odoo instance/database, please go through the record rules and see if you have proper rights to view the products.
