Hello,

I tried to read this documentation https://www.odoo.com/documentation/8.0/howtos/web.html but i feel lost after reading it. please can you give me a simple example that shows how to create a "Hello World Widget" and how to use it in an other module.

Hi,

I think its better for you to check custom widget modules.   There is a lot of custom widget modules available in the odoo apps, please have a look at it and see how it is done.
