Hi everyone, I’m using Odoo Online with Studio. I need to toggle the visibility of a field based on a selection made in a different model/module I created, but I can’t figure out where to apply the condition.

To be specific: in one module, I select certain meters using checkboxes. In a separate module, I want the corresponding input fields to appear only if they were selected in the first one.

I hope you are doing well

Create a related boolean field in the target model pointing to the checkbox, then use it as the Invisible condition on the fields you want to toggle.
If Studio can't handle cross-model conditions, a small custom module with related= fields is needed.

To control field visibility in Odoo Studio across different modules, first, ensure a Many2one relationship exists from the target module (Module B) to the source module (Module A). Next, create a "related field" in Module B that pulls the value of the checkbox selection from Module A. Finally, use this related field in Module B's form view to set the "Invisible" condition for your desired input field, making it appear or disappear based on the selection in Module A.
