Actually we are glad to still have access to the data of 2015. But within let us say 7 years this data will no more be necessary but will still be there. How to "archive" this data and free up the data in order also to guarantee the performance of the data base ?

I am speeking for all kind of data : leads, sales orders, purchase orders, invoices etc ....
