Hi,
Enable Developer Mode – Go to Settings → Activate Developer Mode so hidden technical options become visible.
Open the affected asset – Navigate to Accounting → Assets and select the asset where a depreciation line was deleted or missing.
Click “Compute Depreciation” – This button recalculates the depreciation schedule and usually restores any missing unposted lines automatically.
Check the depreciation table – If the missing line now appears and totals look correct, you can continue posting future depreciations normally.
If the line does not return, duplicate the asset, set the next depreciation date, and recompute the schedule to rebuild clean depreciation lines.
Do not set the asset back to Draft, because this may break links between already posted depreciation entries and cause accounting inconsistencies.
For a single missing posted line, manually create a journal entry using the same accounts and amounts, then link it to the asset using the account_asset_id field in Developer Mode.
Verify consistency – After correction, confirm the asset’s Depreciation Posted, Gross Value, and Residual Value fields are correct and match your financial reports.
Hope it helps.
