Automatic Quotation Follow-Up via Email.
I've been contemplating setting up an automated follow-up email system for quotations. My idea is that clients would automatically receive an email x days after the initial quotation is sent. Ideally, I'd like the follow-up email to maintain the same style as the original quotation email rather than appearing as a marketing email. Thus, it should include the same button for accessing the quotation at the top. Additionally, it would be ideal if the sent follow-up email could be tracked within the conversation thread associated with the quotation.
Schedule:
- Day 00: Quotation sent
- Day 03: "Who are We?"
- Day 10: "Do you have any questions?"
- Day 20: "Can we assist you further?"
- Day 31: Your quotation has been canceled.
- Action: Cancel Quotation.
If the quotation is approved in the meantime, of course, this automatic email follow-up needs to stop. If they respond, I may want them to transition to a different email cycle.
