Hello

I am new to Odoo and am using version 11 on the sh platform.  I am trying to create a group to use for projects that I can select when I use the send message function in the chatter, however I don't want them to get emailed when an activity is done, or a note is logged.  In other words I would like to be able to create a group, but not have them be followers.  Has anyone had success doing this and can offer me any pointers?
