Currently there is no provision for capturing personal relationships between Contacts using out of the box functionality. However, Odoo being customizable, it is possible to do this through a customization.
The other option you have, if you want to use out of the box functionality, is to use the Tags field on a Contact to identify people belonging to a specific family/group like so.
