Hi all

We have customers where they have multiple users that need to act on the account. I raised a quote to the Company which was sent to primary user and cc'd to secondary user. Secondary user needs to access quote to accept and pay online. Secondary user has been given access to the portal.

Will this work in Odoo 18?

Hi Cathy,

Yes, this will work in Odoo 18.

If the secondary user has been granted portal access and proper permissions, they will be able to log in, view the quotation, accept it, and make the payment online.

Just make sure:

  • The secondary user is added as a contact under the same company.

  • Portal access is granted to that contact.

  • They have access to view sales documents in the portal.

Then they should be able to proceed without any issue.

Hi,

Yes, this will work in Odoo 18 as long as both users are set up correctly.

The secondary user must be created as a contact under the same company (parent customer) and given Portal access. If the quotation is issued to the company, all portal users linked to that company can view, accept, and pay the quote online.
