Could somebody explain, what is the use of having the currency in Journals? When you create Journal Entries based on a Journal which have a specific currency, it let you enter lines with accounts in any currency.

The currency setting is used for entering statements. Usefull for Bank statements. Else I cannot find any function related to it.
