Go to Leads - create a lead.
Make sure you've entered a Contact Name and Email address in the info of the Lead.
Click "Send Message" (under the "card" of the Lead itself)
A message will either:
a) be sent to the email address attached to the company, if there is a company specified on the Lead
b) error, saying no email address is specified
...but it will *not* be sent to the email address you've explicitly specified on the Lead itself!
This is ridiculous and unintuitive, forcing the creation of a company / contact for every lead, when the Lead form itself has full contact information - which is obviously of a higher relevance than an attached company.
How do you override this (and get it fixed in the mainline code) so that "Send a Message" on a Lead, actually uses the Email Address specified in the Lead itself?
