This question has been flagged

Odoo rules are used in the powerful rounting system for Odoo inside Routes using operations. Complex at first, but it is quite well explained in Odoo's documentation to a certain extent, because when activating Developer mode, there are Propagation settings for which it is difficult to find precise information.

Like to clarify the possibilities, behaviors, and needs of:

Propagation of Procurement Group?

Propagation of carrier?

Warehouse to Propagate?

As well as the implications of entering a "Partner Address" in the options of a "Pull from" action.

Thanks

Hi,

We can mention the Operation Type, Source Location, and Destination Location respectively when setting the rule. In the Applicability tab, you can specify the Route, Warehouse, Company, and Sequence on which this rule is applicable.
Under the Propagation tab, you can set the Propagation of Procurement Group as Empty, Fixed, or Propagate. By enabling the Cancel Next Move, the move created by this rule is canceled and the next move will be canceled too. Activating the Propagation of the Carrier will propagate the carrier of shipment.
In the Warehouse to Propagate field, you can specify the warehouse to propagate on the created move/procurement which can be different from the warehouse this rule is for.

Hope it helps,
