I am facing a strange problem. I created a new company and then a user.  I sign-in with this new user and create a POS with a new payment method created under this company. But when I try to start a new session for this POS it says "Unable to open the session. You have to assign a sales journal to your point of sale." 

Can you help me troubleshoot this? What am I doing wrong here!!

Yes, it is not visible so how do I configure it in this case.

Make sure, you have properly configure the Sales Journal.

May be field not visible in community as it depends on accounting and by default it is configured automatically.

by default it is set, but if not then probably you have to configure through company properties.
