I'm using Enterprise 12 in the free edition mode with just Accounting and Invoicing.   Just these two are free for one user.

HOWEVER...  if I add even one more module from the Odoo catalog then I have to pay full price for my new module plus the original Accounting and Invoicing which are now no longer free.

I'm considering creating my own simple module for very basic expense reports and wanted to know

  • Can I install a custom module on Enterprise

  • Do you know of that would screw with my free account eligibility?

Note/Observation - the free enterprise version with Accounting/Invoicing is nice but the moment you add even one other module the price gets prohibitive for me.  I'd rather just stay on QuickBooks.

Thanks

Hi,

Its seems you are using the Free One app option for unlimited users. Yes as you told/mentioned, if you install more apps(existing odoo apps), the instance wont be free and you have to pay for it, else database will expire in certain days.

Regarding the query about the custom modules, there is no option/ not possible to add custom modules to Odoo online even though you pay. If you need/want custom addons to enterprise, either you have get odoo.sh or get license and host odoo enterprise in your server.

Thanks

Are you using Odoos online hosting????

Or do you actually have Enterprise installed on your own server?
