Hi Odoo9 users,
I'm interested in seeing the next development of odoo9.
However, I've no luck in setting up odoo9 and let it run properly. For instance, if I install a module, there are bound to be errors.
Would like to hear feedback from v9 users and see which version is stable for installation.

not to discourage you but Odoo V9 is a mess now. When we migrated from V7 to V8 we suffered 6 months to solve various issues and incompatibility with our custom modules.
As Yenthe told you use an alpha now is not the best idea, is good just for testing purposes. If you like to do a quick test why not just create a server on Odoo site for free?
Wait at least September/October before implement it. Because install it is a little complicate now. I build it three times last week on my virtual server before have it up and running.
i recall downloading one of the v9 packages earlier this year and manage to get it running, at least for most parts, but thats early this year. This time when I tried to download a new package and it seems totally buggy. Anyway thanks for your feedback as well. Cheers.

Why don't you use the runbots to test Odoo V9? :) (runbot.odoo.com)
Also, V9 is NOT stable and shouldn't be used in production. There is still plenty of bugs and the datamodel isn't locked yet, which means anything can still change.
Highly unstable. I need to rewrite a good piece of software to have it working as on V8. For now I'll pass. :P
