Hi everyone!

Please if you have detailed steps to configure outgoing email server in ODOO (v8) and steps to do in Office365 will be welcome.

I need a real success steps no theorist steps because  I tried several options and many configurations but without success.

 We have prepared a guide on how to integrate the Odoo ERP with Office 365 mail server ( https://ventor.tech/guides/how-to-configure-emails-to-work-with-office-365-and-odoo/ ). It has been verified on many customers already, and all screenshots are made Odoo 15 and 14 and latest version of Office 365.

Odoo 8 has no global differences for Odoo 15 for configuration Outgoing and Icoming Email server, so manual that mention before should help you.

If you have any questions, we will try to answer them.

Our IT consultant www.onechoice.tech was able to setup outgoing and incoming email with Odoo 10 online. I realize it's a different version but they may be able to help you as well.

I already try that configuration without success, do you tried it with Office365 configuration?

Hello Joaquin , 

Outgoing email server for odoo v8 

Setting --> Technical -->Email -->  Outgoing Mail server 

 then edit or create server details -  fill the required field 

like :

 Description : E.g. localhost 
SMTP Server : smtp.gmail.com

than Connection Security -  select - SSL/TLs

username - xxx@gmail.com

password - ********

test connection and save
