I added in opening balances using "Inventory Adjustments" and didnt see any location field so didnt enter value into that. After setting up the warehouse and locations i tried to do an internal transfer from the default warehouse to the right location but i hit 2 errors. 1) Moves not part of the package. and 2) manage to create 2 internal transfer record but the inventory report didnt display the location and the serial number lost too.

2nd part of your question.. The stock on hand report, probably you need to include those columns by clicking on the three buttons (or double arrow based on your Odoo version) extreme right on the header column.

You could also use the group by (just below the search bar) to include location and serial numbers

For the 1st part, are the products you trying to do internal transfer part of package?

Hi Jaideep "part of package meaning its part of Oddoo version or? Transfers are an integral part of stock transactions so it cant not be included in our Odoo version which is Odoo 14 community.

The reference of package is the functionality in Inventory app and not to Odoo version or subscription.

Was asking if you may have enabled the packages functionality? 

And weren’t trying to make internal transfer of individual products part of a package
