How can i add the total of quantities/units in the invoice/picking list which is a very basic requirement for me. (odoo 8)

At first sight it might look basic. But how do you want to handle different Units of Measures in an invoice???
How do you want to sum up 2 Liters of Milk, 1 kg of Flour and 12 eggs?

Yes. I understand that a business involves selling different types of products which are measured differently.
Hence, I want the sum of quantities based/categorised on the basis of uom's already set in the system.

Invoices and picking lists are reports. You can customize these reports as you like.
