Hi!


I try Odoo 13 for me. 


I found that, if i find english contact, letters register don't effect for search results. For example, if I have company "OneCompany", both find "OneComp" and "onecomp" find its contact.

But if I have name not English I find contact only when I write name register just like in Odoo.


I didn't find the info about this proplem. It's problem in Odoo or I didn't set it up correctly?

Hi Igor,

Odoo can be picky when using specific characters, like umlauts (f.e. ü). Otherwise, contact names should be found not-capital specific. 

If you're not sure of a special character in a name, you could use % as an 'AND' function.
