... you will get a ton of quotations, from website sales, because there will be an empty quote for every visitor.

My problem is: There are many bots out there, and i want them to crawl me and also I want public users to access my system. But within one month, I the system created 500 Quotations... (90% are empty and those are from public user).

How to cleanup those quotations? Is there a way to prevent, those quotations completly?

I was thinking about a "Cron"  which will test for empty quotations, but hat does not feel right.

Any Ideas?

Note: Don't forget the Opportunity you have to MARKET to these people.  "Hey, we noticed you didn't end up checking out - can we help you?"

I think an Automated Action (cron within Odoo) that waits, say, 3 weeks after each Quotation is created, delete it (if you have Sales Channels setup, restrict this to just Quotations created via the website).

If you don't have Sales Channels setup, check for an Expiration Date, and delete those without one or when the Expiration Date has expired.  This way Salespeople can keep Quotes around longer by putting an Expiration Date in (and if they use Quote templates, the Expiration Date can be automatically populated).
