Hi guys,

I have been testing odoo for nearly two weeks and everything seems to work just fine but yesterday, when i tried to uninstall live chat module (from web interface) some thing happened, I have no ideal what and now I can no longer access odoo web interface (error 403). I suspected that because there was something wrong with the uninstall, causing the module is not fully uninstall, either corrupted database or something else ...

My setup & questions as below:

1. OS:    Unraid w/ Docker

2. Docker file:    Official odoo docker

3. Odoo Version:    10.0

4. Database:    PostgreSQL 9.4

5. What module have I installed:    Website, CRM, Live Chat

6. What module I want to uninstall:    Live Chat (keeping the rest, specially website)

7. What if no one know how to uninstall module from command line?

- Would prefer to keep using odoo website as i have devote 2 weeks (days & nights) of my life to finalise the website. Maybe backup PSQL, backup filestores, reinstall odoo docker then restore the database (but don't know how).

 docker logs:

Dear Hilar, thank you for your comment, as i don't have enough Karma so i can't comment back on your answer. Hope this message goes through.

- I also have no ideal why the Live_Chat uninstall did not go through, I have tried uninstall and reinstall quite number of time before and it was fine but just this time, everything goes haywire.

"Before proceeding to try upgrade base, website. then try to uninstall again." could you please point me to the right direction? as i use docker version, it is a bit different i guess.

But thank you for your suggestion.

Upgrade base and website builder, before uninstalling the live chat, I think now you have some broken plugins

@Hilar, I guess so, but is there anyway to fix it? upgrade base again? thanks

Author

@Hilar, i mean how to upgrade base with docker version? i tried odoo -u but it shows odoo has already running, i tried to kill odoo but it doesn't allow me to do so ...

try ./odoo.py -d dbname -u base -r role

About the 7th point it's really unknown and using some scripts we can uninstall modules. But not through the command line AFAIK. About the error you happened, I can successfully uninstall the live chat addon and wonder why you have this difficulty. Before proceeding, try upgrade base, website. then try to uninstall again.

Cheers!
