Hi@all,

I am trying to orientate myself in Odoo. I have a small company and want to use the community version.

It is intended to manage the order processing (offer / invoice) and accounting (incoming invoices, outgoing invoices, incoming payments and open items) in the ERP.

Is this even possible with the community version?

I need the DATEV account framework so that I can immediately post the supplier invoices (items) to the correct accounting accounts. Is it available for free or is it always subject to a charge?

Hi Sven,

Welcome to the Odoo user community! up to Odoo V13 it's possible to have full accounting options. These can be added to a user:

1. Go to developer mode: Settings - Scroll down - deverloper tools - activate teh developer mode

2. Go to users: Settings - Users & Companies - Users - Open a user - Edit - check the box for 'show full accounting options'.

If you install the German accounting, that's fully set up for DATEV. if you want to export your transactions in DATEV format, you'll need a third-party module: https://apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/13.0/ecoservice_financeinterface_datev/ This is a one time purchase (per Odoo version).

You write ... "up to Version 13 ..." Does this mean that after that (e.g. in 14) this option will no longer exist?

I will have a look at the module for the export. If I understand it correctly I have to buy the module again with every Odoo update :-(
