I don't understand why this platform doesn't use Markdown. It's easy, universal, standard.
EDIT: By the way at the moment you can force code formatting by intercepting the post request and inject an HTML <pre> tag
Here is an example, it really works!
can you explain how to do that a little more specific?
It would be nice. Same goes for the preview.
And I not managed to post a comment here.
Would be great if someone do a pull request to add this feature, then send an email to tde @ openerp . com so that he can review it.
Does anything changed about that during the last 7 years ?
At first sight, it seems not, is it correct ?
@Herve no the forum is bloody horrible, can't tag properly, can't comment on your comment (so you probably won't see this), frequent errors on frontend, terrible formatting options, absolutely horrible points system (you can't comment on answers on your OWN question), and other crap stuff like getting reminder to share your question on social network after you create one (like dfq is that, why would my facebook friends know how to solve Odoo specific problems??)
It would be nice to have this feature.
Hi Leonardo i tried your way, not working. How i can paste my code here?
Hi Leonardo, how did you do "intercepting post request" to inject HTML
I believe this isn't supported in the current forums anymore. A lot has been rewritten and I believe they removed the pre tag options.
