Using Odoo for Service Management
Some companies, such as consulting and field services, have their activities based on services.
Odoo provides support to manage these type of services, through the Project apps.
You can manage contracts, tasks, issues, timesheets and link to the finance function's invoicing and analytical accounting.
The "Project for Service Management" is a community reviewed project that aims to provide advanced features to these usage scenarios.
With this talk we will give an overview on the currently modules available in the project, and also for some relevant modules from neighbour community projects, such as the Service Level Agreements module.
We will also show an example where these modules were put together to provide a solution to manage a service desk and field service operations.
