Ana Zurabashvili is a Client Solution Developer at Odoo. She enjoys turning ideas into simple, useful features and collaborating with others to solve real business problems. This is her first Odoo Experience talk, and she’s happy to share what she’s been working on.
This talk is for Business Analysts, new and intermediate Odoo developers, and project managers who work on adapting Odoo to meet specific business needs.
We’ll explore why some changes that look simple can actually be complex, especially if you’re new to the project or unfamiliar with its flows. You’ll learn when and how to override functions safely, when monkey-patching might be necessary, safer alternatives to breaking core logic, and practical tips from real-life cases.
You’ll know how to approach changes with confidence, avoid breaking interconnected flows, and deliver results that work for both the business and the system.
