The talk will present a case study of a professional football academy in the UK, bringing the best from their key external and internal stakeholders.

We will consider the current challenges of the sport-business (especially football) and how Odoo (as framework and software) has helped this client to successfully manage a significantly large amount of athletes, parents, and external organizations in a highly professional way with a very few internal staff.

Additionally, we will present how the internal stakeholders are working with clients in a new, to some extent, revolutionary way. This gives the client a unique potential and capacity to grow their business locally, nationally, and even internationally without concern about the business system supporting it.

We will also discuss the regulatory challenges sports institutions face today, provoked by privacy policies and safeguarding concerns. The talk will finish by showcasing how external custom-designed micro-services can be fully implemented with Odoo, showing the system's capacity to bring to the future of sports.
