For the past 25 years, Patrick has worked with manufacturing companies that produce an extensive range of products, from circuit boards to high-tech equipment. He is an MRP installation and training specialist with years of experience in manufacturing and inventory control. His specialties include production planning, production speed-ups, plant layout, increased inventory turns, and detailed profit margin analyses at all levels. He has worked with various companies, from start-ups to Fortune 500 divisions, to help them streamline their production process.

This talk tells this fourth-generation, family-run BlackSmith shop's digital transformation.

BlackSmith Depot is one of, if not the largest, blacksmith distributors in the USA. Tools and equipment are purchased all over the world. Since blacksmithing is one of the oldest professions, the European market is a tremendous source for Anvils and Hammers. 

When David Kane, who started smithing at five years old, took over the company, he built a beautiful website using Open Source Magento. Then, he realized he needed an ERP system for his Financials and Inventory Control.
To do so, he decided on Odoo and has been running it and Magento for over five years.
