COVID is proving to be one of the worst pandemics faced by the entire world and the demand for testing is increasing day by day. Keeping this in mind Pragmatic has developed an application to ease the booking of an appointment and updating patients' results.
We have also assumed that the testing center can have multiple test sites where the testing will be conducted and these test sites are created in the system.
There are two different types of users that can seek an appointment either individual users or organizations looking to conduct tests for their employees.
For an organization they can tie up with a certain number of test centers and they will be provided a code to use on the website which when entered will display the list of the centers available and then the user can choose the desired center.
For an individual user, they can see the list of all the centers and can choose any center to book the test slot.
Each center has a limited number of slots and once the slots are booked they cannot be used by any other user. On booking an appointment the user receives an email with the details of the appointment, test center location, and a QR code which is to be used by the test center staff for the appointment itself. A user can only cancel the appointment for a preconfigured time.
Once an individual arrives at the test center the test center staff will scan the QR code and will be able to see all the details of the appointment and print the labels for the test the label also contains the QR code to identify the sample.
Once the test is done the staff rescans the QR code and can enter the result of the test i.e. either COVID Positive, Negative, or Test error if any, and the same is communicated to the clients via an automated email. If a user has tested positive they cannot schedule any tests for themselves for 14 days. Also, the organizations can view the reports of their employees who used their code and an individual user can see their previous records.
