Jimena is a Channel Team Leader at Odoo San Francisco, working with the Channel Account Managers, Partners, and end Clients in Latin America.

 

Due to the fast growth of Odoo in the last years,  the team has also been increasing, forcing the Team Leaders to create a standard onboarding process.   


As an industrial engineer, Jimena loves processes. With the help of the other Channel Team Leaders, they created a standard training process - not only for new Odoo employees, but also for new Partners. And, with the help of the Projects module, they implemented a standard onboarding process where the manager can keep track of the evolution of each new hire.

Onboarding not only includes the early process that integrates a new employee into the system, and sets them up for delivering results, it's also about optimizing the performance of your existing employees. Providing suitable and relevant training can help you track the onboarding process of new hires, and ensure you are achieving maximum results.

Due to the fast growth of Odoo in the last years, we have been growing our teams too, with the enormous goal of giving them all the tools needed to start full production in less than 3 months. Here is where the Projects module captures the essential data, so you can easily see where you’re at in the process. Administrators can manage individual performance, and also generate reports about any employee’s onboarding progress. And with all the documents alive in Odoo, the administrators can quickly and easily adjust the plan.
