The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has created unique challenges for industries around the globe. One of the worse hit areas has been supply chain. Due to the restricted access to manufacturing facilities and transportation, companies have struggled to meet consumer demands. The current crisis exposes vulnerabilities and creates urgency for trade professionals to evaluate their processes and consider implementing powerful systems like Odoo, and the industry’s approach to disaster and recovery plans.
This talk will cover how we can best use newly gained insights into process improvements that will lead to more sustainable and efficient operations post-COVID 2019. The target audience for this talk are; Supply Chain Managers, Process Engineers, Odoo Evangelists and Enterprise Architects. Key learnings will be to develop new demand forecasts, optimize product portfolio and network, de-risk supply chain end to end, and adopt a new operating model.
