Andrew obtained his knowledge about business and information technology from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. After finishing his studies, during his time in Singapore, Andrew was successfully recruited and promoted to be a Technical Lead, involved in many projects including building an Accounting and Payroll system for GAAP International and CRM and Salesforce management system for Manulife Financial.
As an expertise in managing projects, he focused mainly on cost/schedule deliverables, customer service, and collaborative team proficiency. In 2013, after 4 years working in Singapore, he came back to Vietnam and became an Business Unit Manager for Hanel Company Limited. Within 5 years, Andrew built a team of 40 people, successfully implementing and consulting Odoo to many companies in Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand covering industries such as Retail, Distribution and Manufacturing. His Omni-channel Retail Product based on Odoo was also awarded the Sao Khue award in 2016 for an Innovative Industry Solution.
After such a long journey with Hanel, Andrew joined Onnet Consulting by providing business digitalisation consulting services using Odoo enterprises that look for an expert who can help them to give advice in terms of software problem solving or how they can utilize the advantages of having an Odoo in their business. Onnet is currently serving clients such as Baskin Robbins, AMPM Pharmacy, Markant Office Furniture, Palfinger, Avialite, AFA Technologies, Takashimaya Ho Chi Minh City.
Since 2012, Onnet Consulting has been starting with a fixed-scope business model and finally turning a win-win business model with customers via a time-based billing business model. In this talk, we will disclose why and how we do it.
The target audience for this talk are any IT Business Leader who wants to adopt Odoo and still wants to consider between Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise. Key learnings: Pros and Cons of 2 different Odoo Business Models and how Odoo Enterprise is a better win for both customers and consulting partners.
