Planning in Odoo. A customer requested a solution to plan the rental of their mobile cranes. For this Callista has developed a Planning Tool in Odoo to make this possible. Odoo users will have a chance to see what is possible with Planning Tool developed by Callista in Odoo 10 (Community & Enterprise) and how it integrates with the Sales and Invoicing modules of Odoo. The presentation will cover the various ways how you can plan your products using the Planning Tool and how you can invoice these planned products afterwards by using the logged work hours of your employees. The code behind the planning tool and the challenges faced during the development will be briefly explained and how they were solved. At the end the roadmap and future improvements to the planning tool will be discussed, mainly how the integration of the Planning Tool in Odoo can be improved.
