Transitioning from Account Executives to Customer Success Managers
Main points:
- First step- new customers.
- Potential new customers work through a pre-sales evaluation with our direct sales account executives to ensure requirements are met within Odoo.
- Customers will continue to work with their direct sales account executives for the first 9 months of their subscription.
- What is customer success?
- Customer Success focuses on building and maintaining long term relationships with our existing customers. Customer Success is dedicated to being a liaison between our customers, support, implementation departments and securing renewals.
- How does the transition work?
- Accounts that have been subscribed for 9 months will be automatically assigned to our Customer Success Managers.
- Our Customer Success Managers will collaborate with the direct sales account executives to comprehend the project and quickly get up to speed.
- Direct Sales account executives are encouraged to introduce the customer success manager as the new Odoo point of contact by including them in an email to make the transition as smooth as possible.
- Why the transition?
- Direct Sales is focused on acquiring new customers, closing deals and generating new business.
- Customer Success is focused on retaining existing customers and ensuring their satisfaction, while building and maintaining long-term relationships with customers.
- Transitioning the account to our customer success team ensures our customers are receiving the support and attention they need to be successful with Odoo.
