I understand that Bigger Ratio field only appears when you select "Bigger than the reference Unit of Measure" for type, and Ratio field when you select "Smaller than the reference Unit of Measure". But when you check an exported csv file, both fields are filled up regardless of the type you chose.

Example: (Load demonstration data)

Hrs = 8 in Ratio, 0.125 in Bigger Ratio

Dozen = 0.0833... in Ratio, 12 in Bigger Ratio

So when do you use Ratio and Bigger Ratio?

Thanks!

Hi Jean:

The 2 values are used internally to convert from one UoM to another. Both of them are in reference to the "Reference Unit of Measure" for the UoM category they belong to.

Ratio (factor) is the one that is stored in the database.

Hope that helps.
