Hi everyone,
I keep spinning in a circle... I use Odoo v18. My general settings in Odoo for the prices is Tax Excluded. I do both retail and wholesale. By default I enter prices on products as a wholesale prices and apply VAT category which I created, to add VAT on top (custom VAT I created is called VAT 17%, and is with settings Tax Excluded). That is all fine if I want to create quotation/invoice to a B2B customers.
I also need to create quotations/invoice for Retail customers and also have retail customers on my e-commerce. For this use case, I want to have rounded retail prices, which differ from wholesale prices and they must be tax Included. I created a price list, with final prices (e.g. 100€), but since there is no additonal field in price lists, I consider this price as a retail price, tax included.
When I create invoices for these retail customers or if they use webshop, I cant force Odoo to use this price as a final and just calculate tax amount from it, not adding extra tax on it.
I tried to play with fiscal positions but they dont do much. I also don't want to apply price lists on every customer in a system... I could also define pricelist with prices without VAT, but due to calculations and 17% VAT, then Odoo shows numbers which are not rounded. I really have a need to define final retail price for webshop & retail customers in general, and let Odoo just calculate VAT amount from that in order to show it, since by the law, retail customers must see final price, and VAT should just be calculated from that final amount. This has to be possible somehow, since its a common use case I would say.
Wholesale prices are one thing, retail prices are totally another. Its not just VAT amount which is a difference.
Thanks and looking forward to your opinions!
