I would like to know if someone has any experience on running Odoo from a Hostgator VPS. First if it's possible, second if you had any problems regarding the overall experience.

Hi,
Yes you could run an Odoo instance on a VPS. If you have admin / root privelages on your VPS you can get Odoo installed and use it without any issues. We have hosted Odoo for several clients on various vps servers from different service providers including hostgator and haven't had any issues so far.
Hello Intigra, thank you for you fast and straight answer. I have got a in chat with a sales rep from Hostgator and they hooked me up with a plan that that tailored to my needs, since I won't be managing in that VPS only a Odoo installation but multiple websites.
