We would like to filter quickly the list view on a date. We would like to have a date picker in the header section of the tree view that would be tied to a date field and by selecting a date it would filter the list on that date. The custom search in V9 takes too long. It takes 6 clicks to get to the calendar widget and we would like just 1 click.

The calendar view is not an option.

Is this possible? Has someone done it before?
