Hi all,

I have multiple products (tracked by a unique serial number) that have two stock.quant's:
- WH/Stock: 1.00
- Virtual Locations/Inventory adjustment: -1.00

Is there a way to fix this situation so that it ends up with only a single stock.quant?
- WH/Stock: 1.00

Thanks

Same situation here.

Hello.

I am having an issue with a product tracked by serial number because on hand quantity and value is 0 because the product was already sold but available quantity is -1.

I tried inventory adjustment and if I change on hand quantity to 1 then available quantity changes to 0 and value changes to positive from 0, but if I change on hand quantity back to 0 (real quantity), the available quantity changes to -1.

Could you please tell if you fixed it?

Thanks :)

Stocks in Odoo are managed with a double-entry system (such as accounting) When you receive an item from a supplier, for example 5 units, 5 units are added to your stock location and 5 units are subtracted to the "Partner Locations / Vendors" location. When you deliver, lets say, 3 units to a customer your stock location is reduced by 3 units and the location "Partner Locations/Customers" is added with 3 units.

If you add 1 unit to your stock with a manual inventory adjustment, the situation is like the one you describe in your example.

There is no need to correct the Virtual or Partner locations. They are not available to sell or move.

Thank you Josep.

The reason I was looking to remove -1 from Inventory Adjustment location is because I can't see the location of my products in the column "Location", knowing that I only have one item (stock) per product located in a real location, and Odoo tells me this:

"After investigation, I can confirm that the location column appears blank because the product can have stock in multiple locations. As mentioned earlier, the Inventory Location is set in the product form and remains constant, which is why it can be displayed. If you would like the location column to display, for example, the location with the highest stock for a given product, this would require further customization."

so I was thinking having two locations with stock (Inventory Adjustment with -1 and Real Location with 1) could be causing this.

Thanks again Josep.
