How do we assign more than one contact to a company?

There are two simple ways to do that.
1. add Contact details inside Contacts & Addresses tab
2. make Contact with the Individual and you will be able to see the company option below Contact name you can choose the company from that

This is easy with the mentioned points.
- Go to contacts
- Create or edit a contact
- Select "Is Individual" in a contact type (This will open a field to select / create company)
- Select / Create company you wish this contact to be associated with
