I have a requirement to configure 4 levels of hierarchy for an account. For example
Level1 Level2 Level3 Level 4 Account GL
Equity & Liability Share Capital Preference Share Capital Convert share 1021
Any pointers on how to achieve this level of hierarchy which could be used in reporting.
Appreciate your help with my query.

for my understanding: Are you looking to set up these hierarchy levels for an account or for a report?
For an account it's not possible, but you could set up custom reports, with different hierarchy levels.
