Gabriel Goldberg is a well-known entrepreneur in the Belgian digital ecosystem. As Google's first employee in Belgium, Gabriel launched Google’s advertising activities in the country from 2006 to 2009, helping to develop and professionalize the distribution market while driving large corporations to accelerate their digital transformation. In 2009, he co-founded Semetis with his partner Nicolas Debray. Under his pioneering vision for digital marketing consultancy, Semetis quickly became the leading digital marketing agency in Belgium.
In 2015, the company was partially acquired by the American group Omnicom, and Gabriel played a key role in guiding both Semetis and Omnicom teams through the transition. Beyond his work at Semetis, Gabriel served as Managing Director of OMD Belgium, Omnicom's main media agency, from 2016 to 2017, where he accelerated the agency’s digital integration. In 2019, he and Nicolas Debray launched Hakacia, a coaching platform for Belgian scale-ups with a track record of more than 500 companies being coached these last 5 years.
Alongside this, Gabriel holds various roles within the Belgian tech ecosystem, including Leadership Coach, Board Member, Business Angel, and Investor. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Brussels Chamber of Commerce (BECI), representing the digital industry.
