Lois Rilo is consultant at Eficent. He is a very active contributor in the Odoo community, specially in the logistics and manufacturing areas. Lois has been involved in a number of Odoo implementations of manufacturing companies worldwide. His academic background includes an Industrial Engineering degree and a Master on Industrial Engineering and Automation. He is Demand Driven Planner (DDP), endorsed DDP instructor by the Demand Driven Institute (DDI) and co-author of the DDI compliant sofware Eficent.io. He has also achieved the official Odoo v12 Functional Certification by Odoo S.A.

In this talk, you will learn what Tier Validations Workflows are, why they are important and useful, and how to implement them in your own company.
Tier Validation Workflows is a development done some years ago, but that is still active and evolving. Its main objective is to provide a base engine to add custom validation workflows to potentially any document in Odoo. It is easily and highly customizable There are currently several integrations available (Purchases, Purchase Requests, Stock Requests...).
It is available for all versions from 9.0 to 12.0 with the technical name of base_tier_validation. The talk will include a live demonstration of the basic capabilities of this module.
