For this session we've invited Mr. Roald Sieberath to join us for an animated panel.

Mr. Sieberath has been an entrepreneur since he got his computer science engineering degree back in 1992. Since then he's been involved as a co-founder, shareholder, and board member, in a handful of companies that have done video streaming, mobile messaging, eBook learning, Big Data, and business applications. He has raised $18M of venture funding in the aggregate. 

In this process he has built an experience of more than 15 years in the field of ICT/Internet, with roles including CTO and CEO. He has pitched to major VCs, hired and put together teams, and opened up international markets. Mr. Sieberath brings to the table a truly innovative, "fresh look" analysis and an entrepreneurial, "hands-on" method of execution. 

Nowadays he spends a lot of time meeting, finding, coaching and investing in startups (and innovative companies or business units), as part of several accelerators, incubators or funds, such as; LeanSquare / Meusinvest, Microsoft Innovation Center, Nest’Up, StarTech, and VentureLab. Furthermore, he's been invited as a speaker and mentor in international accelerator programs, such as: French Tech Culture, YunusSB (Tunisia), MG Seed (Brazil), etc. 

Mr. Sieberath's main goals is to get involved with dynamic teams in startups and SMEs, and to use his entrepreneurial and business experience to help them take advantage of technological innovation, gather appropriate resources (incl. funding and R&D grants) and deliver value to the (global) market.

His main technological interests are in : Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Big Data, blockchain, ICO, social networks, collective intelligence, ICT in Healthcare, Internet of Things, cloud, eLearning, and Open Source software.By education, he has both a deep technical background (CS Engineer, UC Louvain), and a solid background in Business (up to an MBA) from Brussels (Solvay), Louvain and Stanford Business School. Last but not least, he has a keen interest in the broader societal implications of business (environment, ethics, social entrepreneurship).

His main specialties include bringing a fresh perspective to complex issues, writing business plans, fundraising, hiring and coaching teams, and developing partnerships. 

For this panel, Mr Sieberath has invited 3 enterpreneurs. Together they will discuss the challenges of growing companies and how to overcome them.
