Based on the need for an administrative body for beekeepers interested in organizing their professional affairs and directing them towards best way to benefit from the resources available for them. A group of beekeepers and its products and considers it as a primary or additional source of income. It is estimated that the number of beekeepers in the Kingdom is increasing. In addition to the large number of honey traders who trade in locally produced honey and imported honey, where the amount imported is approaching ten thousand tons annually.

 

As a result of the overcrowding of many beekeepers on the limited pasture, as well as problems facing the beekeepers, concerning difficulties when transferring their bees, in addition to the spread of many non-specilists honey traders and inability of beekeepers to market non-honey products as a result of reduced quantities produces; thus cooperative work for beekeepers ought to start to join efforts to solve these problems and tasks are distributed among them to contribute to facilitate profession of apiculture; to contribute to raise the reputation of local honey in the Kingdom.

 

Beekeepers cooperative association was running multiple divisions with various tools and software that were not linked, limiting growth and scalability.
